Ways to Use Mason Jars

I have a variety of mason jars, both vintage and new. I use them as vases sometimes, but found, from an article at Country Living, that you can use them many other ways. Here are some ideas that put mason jars to good use!

They come in handy as sewing kits! Makes a nice handmade gift, too!

A mason jar soap dispenser gives a nice homey touch to your bathroom.

Store your kitchen spices in small mason jars–I love these chalkboard tops that make it so easy to label the jars!

Make pretty gilded vases–perfect for an outdoor summer centerpiece. They would even look great on a holiday table during the winter months!

These tea light lanterns are handy when you're enjoying a summer evening on the patio.

Make fun, colorful drinking glasses with mason jars and balloons cut in half and pulled over the bottoms of the jars!

Display flower-filled jars in planters–this makes such a pretty display or centerpiece!

I love how versatile mason jars are! Do you use mason jars in unique ways in your home?
